Sorry I have been absent for so long ! So many things have been happening and I hope everyone has been enjoying their holidays, days, nights, everything!

There have been so many new things happenn with Illumination Literary and Ms. Brandalyn Gill ! The Official "Life" Book Release Party was this past Sunday night at the Doshi House Art Gallery and it was AMAZING! If you missed t, you missed out one of the most encouraging MOVEMENTS that are hard to come by. We had Jeremy the Prophet AKA Envoy there, we had Lyro the Black Prince, K-Mor and Henry Young and it was perfect ! The music poetry and MC was so on point and it was certainly an event that you should regret if you missed !

They are perfect for the holiday season  !   Also, last night I was on LIVE TV - a guest on Producer Sir Nemesis's Award-Winning Houston's Own People's Politics at 8 pm. I was a guest and I loved it; that was my first televison appearance ! Check out the show on Channel 17 for Comcast, 95 for TV Max, and 99 for U-Verse every Monday night in Houston at 8 pm central !

What next for me? MORE ENCOURAGING MESSAGES by promoting my book ! I am  now the co-hot at Cafe Canacci fpr Soapbox Sundays - 2612 Scott Street. Shows to be announed. I have sent Oprah a copy of my book, so we will see what happens ! I am attending various events across Houston and "Life" will be on Amazon by the end of January and in major book retailer stores across America coming soon ! I am attending the "Female Power" Conference at Hotel Indigo on January 29th , mediated by Fox 26 co-anchor," Melissa Wilson. SO MANY GREAT THINGS COMING UP !

Hi Everyone,

I do apologize for having taken so long to get back on here and do a post. I have been so busy with these events. I did poetry at the Instant Classic at U of H and rushed from there to do poetry at and attend Rainey's Creole Lunchroom and Catering's food taster today :) I had such a blast and made some pre orders so that was great and very excited ! I also wanted to take  moment and inspire you all to develop a firm sense of drive for your dreams. I spent all day from 10 am to 3 o clock in the sun, did poetry for a rush of students who barely paid attention, and then rushed from that event to a second one just to make a total of six pre orders ! That is drive - an undying will to do WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO BE WHERE YOU NEED TO BE! You all should stop at nothing for the things you want in this life and push and fight until you cannot anymore...and then push some more ! There are so many negative influences in the world, so many opposing forces telling you that you cannot do what you want to do and trying to discourage you from doing just that. But if you have the drive and ambition to get it done, NOTHING can get in your way , UNLESS you let it.

All I am saying, people, is to keep your head so far up that a cherry picker couldn't bring it down and shoot for the moon and don't veer off the path until you get there.

Hi everyone!

I hope everyone's week has been going great ! Manymany great things have been happening with me and Illumination! As I have noted yesterday,I did my ad shoot with Angela Reed of Bougie Magazine and it went very well. The magazine is virtual and is seen by 20 countries and after the pre launch party on Oct 16th, my ad will be visible!!! I am also going to be having my website totally reconstructed by a professional; my appointment is today and everyone will be notified, when the site has been updated and is BRAND NEW! I have  plethora of events I am going to be attending/reading poetry at over the next two months, which I will be posting events for. I will be attending Rainey's Creole Lunchroom and Catering Food Taster on Oct. 7th, HOH Fellowship's Young Gifted and Blessed Event Saturday night at 5 pm , and on Oct. 16 The Pre-Launch Event for Angela Reed's Bougie Magazin :) I am so excited!!!

I also have a photo shoot coming up for the site and MANY MANY things coming up for the next six months. Hi all,

I am so honored to le you all know that I am going to be performing my first gig at the 44 Lounge,t his Sunday at 8 o clock. Prophet Jeremy Banks is hosting  an event at the lounge called "Words Infused with Music". It is an ongoing event featuring jazz, spoken word, and poetry and it seems to be great. This will be my first time going and I am so incredibly excited :) I would love for you all to come out and support if you can, but if not just wish me luck. The address is:

The doors open at seven and the show starts at 8 on th dot. Dress to impress :) Like i said, if you want to support or meet me, I will be there at 7 15 sharp.

Also, newbies with the book are that my review copies have been sent out to the reviewers and i am now accepting different invitations to perform at various locations, so if you know someone who is looking for poets, I am your girl. Also, I have been updating my companysite quite a bit. I ahve updated the pages with my mailing list feature, so you can drop your email address as you stop by my site. Please, people, I still need 290 pre-orders so please help if you can. I would love the support.
